The Incomparable WT-3181P Pewter Analog Atomic Wall Clock By La Crosse Technology -With A Thermometer and Hygrometer!

Have you ever enjoyed the great outdoors, by having a swim in your pool or relaxing out on your patio, but needed to know the time or perhaps were building a snowman with your kids and are concerned about the temperature? Then this WT-3181P 18-inch Atomic Wall Clock by La Crosse Technology is for you. It features an analog thermometer that will indicate temperatures in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, reading from -40 degrees to +130F degrees and the other from -35 degrees to 55C degrees, respectively.
This fabulous clock also has an analog hygrometer that indicates relative humidity from 0 to 100 percent. Both the thermometer and hygrometer are located on the lower portion of the clock face. The WT-3181P is a full 18 inches in diameter and its stunning, contemporary, yet traditional style is accentuated by a durable metal casing finished in a pewter tone. The large (1- 3/16 inches tall) hour numerals in black are eye-catching and easily readable at a distance and are further emphasized by the clock’s attractive, bright white face. Small, open areas within the clock’s hands give a delicate and elegant air to the timepiece. This marvelous and remarkable analog clock has radio controlled atomic time that is accurate to the second. What this means is that the WT-3181P uses a 60 kHz signal from the radio station WWVB, which is broadcast by the National Institute of Standards and Technology at Fort Collins, Colorado, to keep the most absolutely accurate time possible. The clock is able to receive the signal up to two thousand miles away from the WWVB transmitter, which means that this fantastic La Crosse Technology clock is able to calibrate to the atomic clock throughout the mainland United States and also in much of Canada. All you have to do is insert one AA (1.5V) battery, choose your time zone (four time zone settings) and wait for the signal to be received, which will take overnight. As long as your clock is kept within transmitter range, it will keep absolutely precise time and automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time. The WT-3181P can also be manually set for international use and the Daylight Savings Time option can be turned off, if you wish. If you move your clock out of transmitter range, it will operate as an extremely accurate quartz-controlled clock and if you come back into range, it will correct the time per the precise WWVB signal.
This superb atomic clock would look impressive, no matter what room it is in, but its main function is as an outdoor clock. It should be placed in a shaded local, such as under an awning or covered patio, but not in direct sunlight because the thermometer will not provide an accurate reading and the hygrometer may be inaccurate, as well. For easy clean up, without scratching, the clock’s lens is made of glass and comes sealed with a rubber gasket, to prevent moisture from damaging the face and hands. The WT-3181P is superior, since it was manufactured by the illustrious La Crosse Technology, which was founded in 1985. With La Crosse, customer satisfaction is first-rate and they are pioneers in the field of technology, introducing radio-controlled clocks to the U.S. in 1991. They are just as meticulous with all of their watches, clocks and weather instruments, for they are daily calibrated to the atomic time standard of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The incredible WT-3181P Atomic Wall Clock would look sensational in your home or on the wall of your patio as a functional and ornamental accent year after year!
